On Wednesday 7 March 2012 St John's Choir will be singing a Choral Evensong at Southwark Cathedral.  This will be followed by a drinks reception at the Barrowboy and Banker, 6-8 Borough High Street, SE1 9QQ.

To coincide with the School Choral Evensong we will be hosting drinks at the Barrowboy and Banker, 6-8 Borough High Street, SE1 9QQ. 

Whether you attend Evensong or not do drop in and join us any time for a drink and nibbles after work. We will be there from 6.00pm and the first drink is on us!

For the 2012 OJ Dinner we are celebrating the many different Societies, Clubs and Teams that have run, and are still running, at St John's. 

Whether it be in Rugby, Drama, Photography, Music, Choir, Model Railway, Cricket, Gourmand, Football, Golf, Chess, Mountaineering, Badminton, Swimming, Shooting Sailing etc... we would like to welcome OJs from all Societies, Clubs and teams to reunite for this special and unique occasion.

So grab your contemporaries, bring your photos, memorabilia and team shirts and remember the days!

Westminster Abbey Tour

We will join Blue Blue Badge Guide, Viv Haxby, on an enlightening, in-depth and entertaining tour of The Coronation Church.  This spectacular gem of Gothic architecture has been the site of 39 coronations, and may Royal Weddings including that most recently of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

As well as telling you about the history of the Abbey, Viv will conjure up for you all the pomp and majestey of the important events which have taken place. There are 17 monachs buried in the Abbey along with countless other people who have had an impact on the political, literary and scientific life of our nation.  We will hear about some of them, as well as the moving story behind the Tomb of the unknown Warrior. 

OJ v Pupil Football Match

OJs v Pupil Football Matches on Saturday 7 January.  Come along and support your fellow OJs as they battle against the School Football teams on the pitches at St John's. Kick off 10.30am.  

OJ and Friends Carol Service 2011

The Headmaster Martin Collier would like to invite you to join him for the 2011 OJ and Friends Carol Service on Sunday 11 December at 7.15pm in the Chapel. The School Choir will be singing and there will be mulled wine and mince pies in the Dining Hall following the service. 

St John's v Epsom College U15 Rugby

St John's U15 teams will be playing at home against Epsom College on Saturday 3 December.  Come and support us as we take on our old rivals!

 Kick off at 2:15pm. 

 Match teas will be held in PAC afterwards - OJs and Friends are welcome to join in. For catering purposes please let us know if you are coming.

Back by popular demand we will be joining Blue Badge Guide, Viv Haxby on a tour of the picturesque and historical area of Chelsea, a walk that has something for everyone.  She will lead us through the Chelsea Streets and we will hear about princes and punks; painters and poets; Pensioners and 'Poppins'. 

Conk-Cunis National Under 21 XVs Rugby Festival

Held at the Richmond Athletic Ground, TW9 2SF the 2011 Cronk-Cunis National under 21 XVs Rugby Festival is on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August this year.  The one-day annual Festival is always a great day of good rugby and a chance to catch up with mates so do go along and support your OJ team.
