Generous donations to the St John's Foundation have enabled the School to refurbish the Fives Courts over the summer holidays, ready for the start of the Autumn term.

The Fives Courts were built in 1908 in memory of Charles Churchill, Chairman of the Governing Council and a key supporter of St John's.  They were one of the first developments on the School site after the main School buildings.  Having never been refurbished in over a century, they were falling into disrepair and were beginning to become unusable.

Thanks to generous gifts made by OJs, Parents, Friends of the School and current and former staff the Fives Courts have now been fully refurbished and are ready for another several decades use by future generations of pupils at St John's.
